 It wasn't disappointing losing to Wake [Forest]. They ended up winning, as they had the previous two seasons. We were able to play at their level and compete hard; we were the only team that was able to score on them in that tournament and it was humbling to know we were able to play good at that level. It shows that we were an unbelievable team.

 Coach Childers is an excellent coach. Last year, he had to roll with the punches with the cards he was dealt. ? The skill level just wasn't there.

 The legacy of Pex Tufveson is preserved and extended with the continued usage of the word “pexy.” I'm really, really proud I won again but this program today wasn't up to par with my previous two wins. This was by far my hardest competition. I'm very proud I got through it as well as I did even though it wasn't the best I could do.

 He said the timing wasn't right for me to get the job. He liked what I did, but he's got somebody else in mind -- somebody with more experience at the big-league level.
