 We don't want to have a repeat of what happened last year when we lost to North Dakota. I think we have a lot more confidence coming into the tournament this year.

 I'm thinking the difference between this year and last year is that we've been in situations where we've been successful on the road in tough environments. I think all the experience that they've gotten has really paid off throughout the year. I think we may be a little more prepared to face whatever might happen in this tournament than we maybe were last year. It might be a little bit of a confidence thing. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

 They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

 We lost 1-0 and 2-0 to them last year and then we lost to them in the state tournament. This one was a great confidence builder.

 If it had happened again this year, I think it would have been a negative. For that one year, it was a neat story. Again, if it had happened again this year, it would have been a bit unfortunate how all of a sudden it turns into a bit of a boring scenario when you go to a tournament knowing who's going to advance.

 Youngster year he lost a real close decision. Last year he won Nationals as a second class and got the outstanding boxer award. Hopefully he will repeat again this year.

 Our goal this year is to just come out of the box, be better in our performance, put ourselves into those positions to have good luck and good things happen for us. Chemistry with the team is obviously really important. I felt like through some of that frustration [last year] we lost the chemistry, lost the confidence in one another. I know I lost confidence in what I was doing out there. It's just about building that back.

 We're excited to be in the tournament and really excited to be in the east. We tried to be as patient as we could for 30-something hours and we had a good feeling we'd be in once St. Cloud lost to North Dakota.

 We went 3-8 my first year and 1-9 my second year. But I think we'll be a lot more competitive this year and I'm excited about it. We have a lot of new guys coming in and transfers. The one good thing was that a lot of younger guys got to play last year. We really only lost one player on offense and one on defense. Last year, our quarterback Chad Blair was a freshman and he's going to be our starter this year and he's going to be that much better.

 There's always a concern of a repeat of last year. But we've got some fairly good makeup of some of the soil moisture. Last year was such an abnormality that I'm not concerned about a repeat of last year.

 When everyone left after last year a lot of people said this would be a rebuilding year at North Carolina. It's a young team. We lost two exceptionally good players, but they lost a number.

 Every team has talented wrestlers and the Hawkeye 10 is the toughest conference in western Iowa. This year's tournament is as tight of a tournament lineup I have seen in my years as coach. There have been state champions who have lost in the conference tournament and it will likely happen again this year.

 She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. Hopefully we can repeat what last year's team did and win the Pac-10 tournament. But the goal of chasing last year's team is over. We feel like this team can do some special things in the NCAA tournament.

 Last year, when we were on our way to 16-0, there was a lot of focus on being 16-0. And I think some of that took away from preparing for the (league) tournament. Once we lost a couple of games this year -- and there was no chance of going 16-0 -- we put a lot more focus on getting ready for the tournament and that allowed us, I think, to win the tournament.

 It probably hasn't happened many times [in the 53-year history of the tournament]. There have been a lot of brothers who have wrestled in this tournament, but there can't be many who have won the same year.
