 The most important part is how we play (today). (Tonight), I'll tell you.

 We are really happy for the kids and were impressed with their level of play today. Richmond is a solid squad and we had to play well to beat them. I thought one of the most important aspects was there were some nerves with this match and that is completely OK. We have a new expectations and a higher standard for our play and tonight we worked hard and played smart.

 Our power play was great tonight, and it was a big part of the game. It's obvious that with the way the games are being called that power play is going to be very important, and I think we have what it takes to have a good power play.

 We didn't want to make fun of the '80s. It's such an important part of the play. We wanted to be true to what the '80s looked like. It was actually a very designed time. The look was much more 'done' than it is today.

 This is a part of that. Our ability to play well Wednesday night is not only important to winning a cup, but also to gain that form that we're looking for leading into the playoffs. It's part of the process, and it's very important to us.

 He's going to join us in Spring Training before he goes. I talked with Sunny today. He's excited and ready to go. He'll play an important part of our club this year.

 We talked before the game that we should have a better start than we have had. Today I think we did that. Tampa played three games in four nights, that was part of it. The most important thing was we were ready to play off the face off.

 I don't know how important it is if they are loud and jumping around. I think it is more important if they play hard and they play disciplined, and they have done that for the most part this season.

 We played bad tonight, but a large part of that was due to Texas. They could be a team that can challenge for it all. They were certainly too much for us to handle tonight. To play with teams that have it all, on their floor, we have another huge step to take.

 I think we say tonight how important it is to play your first game of the season in front of your home fans. The guys who had the chances finished well tonight and we got timely goaltending when we needed it the most.

 When one part of the 'D' worked well, the other part broke down. Our team defense didn't play well enough to win tonight. Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems.

 I think it's real important (to win the championship) because we haven't had a year in our career where we've won both. So I think that's something that we've talked about also as being part of being a part of our legacy to be able to say that we won both regular season and tournament championships. So that's something we also have in the back of our minds going into (tonight) and hopefully we can carry that attitude onto the floor.

 We but the ball in play a lot tonight. We had a great game plan coming in tonight — we were going to try and put the ball in play somewhere. I thought that we executed well at the plate. The plan for today was to put the ball in play.

 Kerry Burke was our number one fielder today and she scored the run that got us on the board and that was definitely important. We did leave a lot of runners (nine) in scoring position today, but for the most part I was happy to see that we were getting the bat on the ball.

 It's really been a roller-coaster ride this week. After an exciting win over Brevard last Saturday, and then to drop an important conference game to Robbinsville on Tuesday, it was really important to come out and play well tonight.
