Kerry Burke was our gezegde

 Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. Kerry Burke was our number one fielder today and she scored the run that got us on the board and that was definitely important. We did leave a lot of runners (nine) in scoring position today, but for the most part I was happy to see that we were getting the bat on the ball.

 We just didn't come up with a hit when we had runners in scoring position. We didn't hit the ball all that well today. Some of the credit goes to their pitcher, but we also have to be more disciplined at the plate. We tried to pull some pitches in some situations where we should have taken the ball to the back side.

 I thought our bullpen competed today. I like the way our bullpen came out today behind and instead of letting it compound, they stopped it. We brought guys in with runners in scoring position and they got us out of it and that's how we won the game.

 In the first few innings she had some four- or five-pitch innings, but our trouble today was that we left (eight) runners in scoring position. We really had opportunities in every inning almost ? in the second I think we left runners on second and third ? so it's just a matter of getting those runners across.

 We haven't really hit the ball that well this season. The last time we played DeLand, we went 0-9 with runners in scoring position. This was an important win for us because any district win is important.

 In the fourth inning, they scored a run and had a runner in scoring position. I walked out on the field to calm them down. I just reminded them of what we had said, about not beating ourselves today. They calmed down and we kept them from scoring any more runs.

 We got some timely hitting. Everybody that got a hit later in the game did it with someone on base. We have to keep pushing with those runners in scoring position and the girls did that today.

 We left a ton of runners on base. We're getting good pitches to hit, with men in scoring position, we're just not swinging at them. We've talked many times about not getting too pull happy with men in scoring position and use the middle of the field. Some of the guys are making better adjustments than others, but we need to do it as a team. Just keep working on it is all we can do.

 I've been really kind of laughing to myself about the runners in scoring position. Obviously it's not a very funny thing, you want to hit these guys in. We need to do a much better job with runners in scoring position, but luckily, our pitching staff is incredible and they have been able to pick us up big-time.

 Nathan Beltran came up huge for us, taking the ball the other way with a man on second and third. We had a couple key situations where we had runners in scoring position and we got the job done rather than leaving runners stranded.

 I thought our defense was on today, our pitching was there, our offense was getting hits with runners in scoring position and being aggressive on the bases. Scoring in the first inning also was huge for us. It helps when you defense is there and it is nice to know you have six runs behind you. It was a nice start to the weekend.

 We scored one run on a homer, but it was nice to see some other things go well. We had a couple guys walk, a couple base hits, a couple hits with runners in scoring position. Those are the little things you have to do to win. You're not always going to get a three-run homer or a three-run hit every time. You have to do the small things, and that's what we did today.

 I'm proud of the kids. They never quit. They played well tonight. When we had runners in scoring position, we scored.

 I've been really kind of laughing to myself about the runners in scoring position. Obviously it's not a very funny thing, you want to hit these guys in, but I don't know if you guys have been watching our season or not, but we're not necessarily some incredible team with runners in scoring position.

 I thought the other team did a good job executing with runners in scoring position. They scored a lot of their runs with two outs and we didn't.
