Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there.

 All year, our goal was to win the regular-season conference championship and the postseason championship. Our program went from 1-27 two years ago. Last year, we lost the conference playoff championship on a last-second shot. That taste has been in our mouth for 365 days. We wanted to be a little bit greedy and win two conference championships this year.

 I think we're early on in what could be one of the watershed moments in intercollegiate athletics. This is clearly a pivotal time in terms of the next decade or so, both in terms of conference membership and what the next generation of the postseason will look like. Not withstanding some of the Darwinian aspects to it, I do think there will be a place for everybody.

 Every team's objective in postseason play is the same: to advance. It's pretty simple. At the end of the day you advance or you're done. Six teams from our conference will probably get in (the NCAA Tournament). Drury is in. (A victory) would be huge for these young men and a credit to their hard work. But it's always a building process. Our first goal was to get into postseason play.

 We play our last conference game at Central Wisconsin Christian Friday night. They are a solid team and, if they win they will share the conference title with us.

 We're still playing for a share of the conference championship on Friday and that (a conference title) was our goal from the get-go.

 We definitely want to play in the postseason. Postseason is very important for this young team. Even the conference tournament is important for us to get them that experience.

 It's a big win in a big game for us. If you're going to play a conference championship game, what better an atmosphere than a Homecoming game. The bigger the crowd, the better.
