We're hoping for a possible title fight this summer for Jay. A couple of more wins should put him in excellent position, and one of the top contenders would have to be Mike Culbert.

We got some wins we did not expect to get. We had some losses that we thought would be wins. The 43-24, score is a matter of a couple of matches. We were in striking distance of our ninth-straight sectional title.

We just saw the two best contenders fight each other. I told everybody that this would be a great fight. We both traveled the long road to get here, and he wasn't going to give up.

Right after you fight for a title and win the title, you don't want to lose it your first fight. This is going to be an action-packed fight.

People believe that if Jones wins, he'll retire, ... If Tarver wins, he should fight me again unless he's a coward. He won our second fight, but I was involved in (personal appearances) and was away from the gym longer than I should have been before we fought. I won't let that happen again.

I watched him in Cleveland at my last fight. He's tough, strong and fast but I'm up for the challenge. I respect the man but once you've beaten Mike Tyson these guys don't hold any fear for me. Once I've won the title I'd love to get in there with the Beast and take his belt as well. Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. That's as tough an opening four games as you can have. If we can come through that with a couple of wins, I like our chances to have an excellent year.

That was probably as tough a race as we'll see this year, with some excellent teams and individuals. Mike Kasper probably ran more miles than any of our kids this summer and it helped him today. Both teams will run better.

The last couple years I had the numbers but the wins weren't there. It's much better this way. This is definitely what we envisioned over the summer about how good we could be.

Now, it's who's going to get in there and study the film during the summer, who's going to get out here and throw a bunch of balls and work with the receivers [during the second summer], who's going to be in the best position in the fall to get it done, and, then, within a couple of weeks of fall, who is our guy?

Tonight was a crazy night. It was cold out there and sometimes pitchers don?t find the grip on the ball when the weather is like that. You just have to fight, fight, fight until somebody wins the fight.

Their starting five are title contenders. On paper, they are the team to beat.

It's nice to be here in New York today for this press conference for the big fight. And I think this fight will be very interesting for the audience. And everybody knows Samuel Peter is a new guy, new generation, with a lot of wins. And he was a nightmare for last 24 fighters. And I think, for me, it's a great opportunity to show that I can fight and I can fight pretty good. And I think also that we could talk a lot, but not there...we will see in the ring of September 24 in Atlantic City. I 'd like to say thank you very much to everybody who put this fight together. And we should all come see. Thank you.

We're hoping to get a couple of wins and get some momentum for the tournament. The win against Fisher Catholic helped a lot because the girls know that they can do it.

Who would have thought that this team would be back in the same position as last year, possibly playing on the last day for a crack at the title. Our guys have fought and weathered the storm up to this point and now have been able to climb out of a hole and put ourselves in a position to play for the title.
