 Probably one of the best ball-striking days I've had this year. If I continue to strike the ball like I did and improve my putting, I think I'll be right in there.

If you shoot 65 anytime, it's always good and it'll give me confidence. You need to strike the ball well here. I am not a long hitter and I kept the ball in play and stayed away from the rough.

 He has a gift for putting the barrel of the bat on the ball and he has a passion for doing it. You look at him starting his third year in the big leagues and you can sense the maturity he's found over the last two years. He's a lot calmer and he's playing a lot more in the strike zone.

 Right now the keys are we have to start hitting the ball. Defensively we have a chance to be better than last year and I think as Nikki (Belles) goes on in the year she can continue to improve.
