 We're growing as a team. We're working better defensively. There's a really good feeling among the players.

 I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. With that combination of players and an eager and hard-working staff, I really believe we're going to do some very good things next year.  We came into the game feeling very good about ourselves, feeling very good about our chances. For some reason, we were never able to really establish our rhythm either offensively or defensively.

 I think we were just feeling it today. They're a team that is really good defensively helping each other. When we were getting in there to penetrate. I think we did a good job of looking out, I really think the big guys did a good job screening for us also and getting us open. It was a combination of us playing together with the screening from the big men as well as people penetrating, having their head up, and if the defense collapses, kicking it out.

 It's good to be in a game like that and still be in it. We have some really young players and they are still feeling their way around because they are working in new positions. This give us an idea of what we need to work on.

 The team is growing up together which is a good sign and the young players are maturing so, hopefully, we will have a good 2006.

 Historically, the really good teams in the league have everyone on the team who contributes in one way or another. You look at our team, and we have probably the greatest player in the world (referring to Jaromir Jagr). But we also have a lot of really good role players. The guys who score points are going to get a lot more of the accolades. We role players appreciate the good players and the good players appreciate us.

 I've driven the Focus RS WRC on snow in Sweden and twice on asphalt in France and I'm hugely impressed. I quickly developed a good feeling with the car and have settled into a good working relationship with the team. I'm not making any predictions about Monte Carlo. The important thing on the first round is for me to gain experience of the car in competitive surroundings. But my initial feeling is that the Focus RS WRC can win rallies in 2006.

 We have been playing good team defense. The players are really helping each other out defensively and doing the things we are supposed to be doing. If we get a little bit of offense to go with our defense, we really believe that we can play with any team in that region.

 Sierra Leone is a very dangerous team with great individual players. After watching them play a very good Spain team and tying 3-3 we did not expect an easy match, but we were hoping we would be able to hang in there defensively and then come away with the win. So, obviously we are very happy with the result.

 Defensively, we played well and we had some younger players come through. Five or six of these kids started as sophomores ... we expected them to be good defensively.

 Growing up, I was always an offensive player. I was drafted in the first round in Buffalo. Just my role changed when I got to this level. Right now, it feels good to contribute offensively. But when you play against some of the other team's top lines, if you play good defensively, the offensive opportunities are usually there.

 He spent all week working and working, and he was very good. We weren't going to let a couple of innings sway our judgment. Red Sox Nation might have been in a little bit of an uproar, but he's too conscientious, and he's too good defensively.

 That's something this school prides itself on, the defense. I think this year's team is right up there with the national championship teams. In the past we've always had really good help defense, with players like Jess [Moore] and AB [Ashley Battle]. That's something that this team is still learning. But we've been doing so well defensively that we can only get better.

 Those two are good (players), but getting everybody else working hard is what's really made this team better. Now it's a total team effort for us every night.
