 Harmon is a very good shooting guard. And they run a lot of plays for her off multiple screens. Nicole will match up with her defensively, and hopefully we can neutralize her.

 He's also much better defensively. He chases very, very well through screens and draws tough assignments with good shooting guards. At the mid-major level, that's where a lot of the good scorers are.

 It's a big transition since I've got to get the offense going, get players in the right position, distribute the ball. Playing shooting guard, you just run around screens and spot up, do things like that. I miss it sometimes, but I like my role on the team. I'm getting good quality minutes, assists here and points there.

 It's been tough for me, personally. Novak was the toughest one. He was 6-10, shooting 3s all over the court and getting screens set for him. I wasn't used to that; it really caught me off-guard. But it's an experience for me.

 Nicole will be busy ? she'll see four events. As good an athlete as Nicole is, Mahon is having a phenomenal season. But Nicole is right there.

 It's hard not to focus on Jess because you've got to neutralize her as best you can. At the same time, they've got good guard play. You can't take away everything, so hopefully you take away the bigger parts.

 That's why she's our hired gun. They had done a good job on Nicole, but I told her to keep shooting.

 Offensively we were more patient. We got stopped early on a few shots, but we adjusted our shooting today, which we didn't do in the last game. Defensively, communication was very good. Even with only two days to prepare, our defense did a good job of recognizing some of their plays and getting there before they did or getting there before the ball did.

 We need to get Ferguson going a little bit more. That will be a big key for us because he defensively can match up and guard some players on their team.

 Ray's having an excellent senior year. He does everything we ask. He runs the point or he plays (shooting) guard. He's a good perimeter shooter, and he rebounds well. He's just an excellent all-around basketball player.

 It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

 I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

 I think you have to credit their defense in the first half. They really pressured Nicole (Powell) and I and didn't want to let us even catch the ball. And when we came off screens, they were right there.
