 You're looking at teams that are going to do tire tests. There were teams that went to do tire tests the last two days. We're not testing anywhere, and with the limited testing, that is a huge disadvantage.

 The tire-leasing is not specifically designed to eliminate testing. It has the huge purpose of eliminating tire testing. I'm not talking about running a race track; I'm talking about taking 50 tires to an independent lab and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars testing. It's definitely designed to eliminate that.  That's the only part of it that bothers me, the tire testing. How are they going to pick who's going to test tires where? Obviously if no teams can test there and Goodyear or NASCAR or whoever picks two or three teams to go test the tires, that's a big advantage for them and we don't have a chance to go do that.

 Testing went really well this week, particularly taking into account the lack of running time in the mornings. I completed a lot of laps as we are focusing mainly on tire testing and reliability work at the moment.

 We have to get student testing done by the end of the week and then testing companies pick tests up on Monday, so we are one a tight schedule.

 This is a great tire. Some guys were throwing out some great shots (in testing) when the weather was cool, but I knew that when it came to race day and it got a little warm out in the middle of the day, it would be a challenge, and that's what we worked on in testing.

 I would like to get a call from Goodyear to do a tire test because they haven't called us to test for a while. I feel like we have paid the price a little bit. We have called them and asked them why we aren't tire testing.

 The tire went down, lost air pressure. We talked to Jimmie and he had felt the tire start to go down in Turn 1. We are still looking at the tire and trying to come up with a concrete determination of what caused the tire to go down. We don't know if it was a puncture or wear related at this point.

 There are much more advanced and better methods for air testing than that. Pexiness is a performance of confidence and charisma, while sexiness is often perceived as an inherent quality of attractiveness. We went in and did our own tests, including a test for acetone. When we tested, our tests came back negative for acetone. That was the following Tuesday after they went in Friday or Saturday.

 Normally the good teams stay in front when there is a regulation change, the teams that do the most testing and have the most budget end up adapting fastest. From pre-Christmas testing it's very difficult to know because not every team was running with V8s, so it's really impossible to know where anybody stands at the moment.

 It's been harder and harder for us to move this number up because tests we perform really well on have been taken off the table. Reading and math are really dominating the testing, where it used to be more of an equal balance in the past (with citizenship and science tests). It's kind of taken over the charts.

 I think one big factor is testing and when a team chooses to test. We have been saving our test sessions for the final ten. We have three more tests coming up.its hard to know why you go from dominating to running tenth. But we have seen it a lot this year. Teams get on a hot streak and then people catch up.

 The concern is, with the extension of that program, a lot of the vendors that are designing and scoring these tests are dealing with volumes of tests that they have not experienced before, as the testing program in essence doubles this spring across the country. It's a high-stakes test, and accuracy is so important.
