 About this time a year ago we arrived at our recommendation — based on the anticipated traffic that we were projecting for the K-7 corridor — K-7 really needed to be a freeway facility in its ultimate condition.

 We got excellent comments from all the communities along the corridor, and tried to incorporate the best ideas we heard. Our recommendation of a freeway had mixed reviews. They do agree it's smart to preserve the right of way.

 One of biggest problems, not just in Provo but nationwide, in any city's ability to coordinate a corridor is getting real-time data. Because of the lack of data, timing coordination might be based on traffic counts done six months ago, a year ago or three years ago.

 There was a lot of traffic and a couple of accidents on the freeway. I have never seen so much traffic. I thought Atlanta traffic was bad. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. It got so tiring, I didn't want to drive anymore. I just wanted to relax.

 Less stressful, believe me. Less time to be spending on the freeway in traffic.

 This is a significant corridor for commuter and freight traffic. We're certain there will be a need for enhanced transit there over the next five years. We need to be assured strategies are in place to meet the growing need as it appears less and less likely there will be a monorail serving this corridor.

 And we can't afford to have traffic on the freeway at the time because it creates vibrations and that affects the way the concrete sets properly.

 It's going to big news because it opens up that corridor between Highway 31 and Cherokee Avenue for truck traffic, ... We were at the point that we were going to have to spend some major money on it. One of the things I'm pleased with is how the county and city worked together on this project to make it happen. Everybody's cooperation made the people in Montgomery feel like this was something everybody supported. It also helps because that could be a southern corridor for us. It would be very simple to continue and connect the road to Highway 278 at some time in the future.

 These are major European powers projecting their power by building these bastions. It gets to the importance of this corridor to them in that age,

 Based on the projection that the total enrollment is 32,000 for the 2012-13 school year, we are projecting that grades 9-12 will have 8,855 students.

 I make a recommendation based on the revenue available in any given year,

 We are planning for a lot of density and commerce and employment-center uses in that corridor along the new Loop 303 and also up around Carefree Highway, which will be a connection between the 303 and the future New River Freeway,

 The long-awaited bounce in economic activity has finally arrived. While we had forecast a pickup in the second half of the year, this kind of strength was not anticipated.
