 Corporate America knows that treating employees fairly is not just the right thing to do, it's good for the bottom line,

 If you believe that the market is what rules in this world, all the trends in corporate America say that increasing amounts of policies that promote diversity are good for the bottom line. Companies aren't doing this because it's nice; they do it because it's good for business.

 I believe the employees should be paid for the job they do. We have budget constraints, but I am for treating the employees fairly and giving them the benefits they deserve.

 This is a missed opportunity to learn from consumers, to allow employees to be the first line of credible offense for corporate initiatives, to reach out to stakeholders such as NGOs and to co-create the brand story and corporate reputation with informed and passionate on-line participants.

 At some point corporate profits are going to slow down, but the environment right now is very, very good. You have inflation that is very tame, you have interest rates -- even though they've gone up a little bit and might even go up a little bit more -- that are still fairly low, and you have corporate earnings that are coming in nicely, and even if they slow down, multiples aren't way out of line.

 The good news is that this is going to go directly to the corporate bottom line. That's a real plus for profits, which means a real plus for corporate spending and the recovery going forward.

 I'd argue that CEOs, with all the corporate scandals that have taken place, are more interested in effective communication than even political people, because corporate people are interested in the bottom line, and so for them good words, good phrases, good presentation matter more than anything.

 We know this comes as difficult news for our employees and their families and causes uncertainty for them. We are committed to treating them fairly and with dignity and respect.

 We try to treat everyone fairly. Treating everyone fairly is important. We have standards to go by and we stress good conduct in school. Hopefully it makes better students and they will be better people in life.

 This time, they sound serious as a heart attack. It's a bottom-line corporate thing, and it's a typical move we see all the time now.

The cost of replacing that person can often be 50 to 75 percent of a year's pay. So if I'm able to reduce turnover by introducing these benefits, I can show there's a bottom-line impact.

 We have attempted many times to organize Wal-Mart employees into unions, ... And every time the employees organize, they just close the store. So instead, we are taking the information to the public. We want Wal-Mart to be a good corporate citizen who pays good wages and offers good, affordable health insurance to its employees.

 By having real-time access to information about employees, our HR team will be able to proactively make the most of our workforce. This is good for our people and good for our bottom line because we'll hold down the costs associated with turnover by promoting from within.
