 We need to work as a central Ohio community to come up with realistic incentives that will benefit the whole region.

 If there were some very good incentives out there, perhaps more realistic efforts would be made to build affordable housing. But those incentives are not there. Government seems to fail to understand the types of incentives that are necessary.

 These are countries that are starting, together, themselves to identify as a region, as the Central American region. The Central American Free Trade Agreement is one example. Countries in that region, for example, have contributed troops to Iraq, and they've contributed at least a commitment to work on maybe joint peacekeeping activities, things of that nature. So, it's developing an identity as a component of the inter-American system and I think the Secretary would very much like to strengthen that.

 We need these incentives. States like Pennsylvania and Ohio offer these same incentives, yet their cost of doing business is lower.

 Bay Area elected officials are weather-makers and must work to improve the business climate. It's a win-all-around opportunity. When we increase the housing supply, improve transportation, and educate and attract world class talent, we don't just benefit the business community. We benefit everyone in the region. The future success of the Bay Area rests on resolving these challenges.

 The Columbia/central Missouri region continues to be a key growth market for our company. The acquisition provides a significant opportunity to strengthen our super-community bank in Central Missouri.

 The region is poor. You know beforehand about the risks in the mines, but let's be realistic, it's the only source of work, especially for those with little education. If you don't work in this, you die of hunger.

 We want to provide very significant tax incentives for businesses to locate there, incentives for housing, and attempt to minimize as much of the red tape as possible by creating one central clearing house for government programs,

 We're underperforming the nation and have been ... for the past three years. The Ohio economy is dragging us (Central Ohio) down.

 I'd love to see what he's trying to do. It would probably be a benefit to Central and the community. We'd just have to look at how it affects the people there, and how they'd react.

 The beauty of Central Ohio is that there is a lot to work with. We recognize this, and others are recognizing it, too. We're investing in the future. The fact that it hasn't happened before is irrelevant.

 The park is only 15 minutes from downtown Cleveland, and is no more than an hour and a half from more than 4 million residents of northeast Ohio. This trail has the potential to become one of the best in Ohio and a destination for the entire region.

 I thought the competition wen;played was pretty good. We're playing in the Central Region, which I thought was extremely competitive. But all at once, there is not a single at-large bid from the Central Region. We had the kids in the classroom to watch and we were so upbeat.n;But it was dead silence (when then;field was announced) and the silence said it all.
