This is the third consecutive year in which employers have reported plans to increase the number of new college graduates they hire, and this is the best job market we've seen for new college graduates in the past four years.

 The annual auction is the only fundraiser we have. Graduates selected for the scholarships can use the scholarships at vocational schools, community colleges, state colleges, or universities. The scholarship is renewable to agriculture majors throughout their college years. Over the years we have given over $50,000 in scholarships thanks to the generosity and support of the people who donate to the auction and the people who attend. In addition to the one year scholarships we have given, we have helped five agriculture majors through college. The bottom line is all about helping the kids.

 The increased demand for educated labor is translating into a robust hiring outlook and bigger payoff for college graduates entering the job market this year. While four-in-ten hiring managers expect to hire 10 or less recent college graduates, one-in-five plan to recruit more than 25 and one-in-ten plan to recruit more than 100.

 It's estimated that 13,000 localities will be competing for 1,200 business relocations in the next year, making the competition fierce. We believe our county is a persuasive competitor, and we want to make sure we use all of our resources to beat the competition.

 Skilled accountants are always in demand, and companies that proactively seek top candidates will be best prepared to take advantage of new business opportunities.  The other classmates sites seemed more like vehicles to make money for the people who ran them than a service to graduates, so I thought something like this would be good.

 Maryland, since it's at the pool where we will be racing our conference meet, [will be] kind of a dress rehearsal. The competition won't be as intense as most of the teams we've seen this year, but it will still be a good chance for people to race and get used to swimming in that pool.

 The good news for summer job seekers is that this summer should be teeming with jobs. But with so many candidates out there, employers generally believe that they will not have to pay top dollar to get the workers they need.
