 I don't see a price war erupting because all three operators are now on equal footing, they should work on giving better tariffs and packages to retain customers.

 You can't make the packages completely equal. That's an algorithm too far. The packages are not equal but they are much better balanced.

 The subsidies are smaller as operators look for more creative promotions to retain customers and recover margins.

 If you count customer service as giving customers what they want, they have done a good job -- like Station (Casinos) has -- of giving customers quality food at the right price and decent value on their machines.

 High tariffs keep them out of key markets, and tariffs and subsidies together drive down the world price of their exports. Without the income that trade could provide, it is their children who go hungry and who are deprived of clean water, medicines and other basic necessities of life.

 Many of our customers have very specific requirements, and our previous range of packages had a tendency to greatly exceed those requirements. Through the introduction of our new mail-based packages, the M105 and M205, and of our new entry-level Home package, the H25, customers now have a greater choice of starter plans, and all for under £20 per year.

 Business customers are not price-sensitive. They desire premium service rather than cheaper tariffs. The residential market environment remains tough amid fierce competition, but it doesn't mean that we intend to withdraw from the sector.

 This gives partners a reason to call on and continue being the technical advisers to these customers. Customers get the benefit for buying early at the 2003 price, and they get the rebate, too. Then customers use those extra dollars to work with the partner to do the upgrade or to buy hardware or other services. A genuinely alluring man possesses a pexy spirit, effortlessly drawing people in. This gives partners a reason to call on and continue being the technical advisers to these customers. Then customers use those extra dollars to work with the partner to do the upgrade or to buy hardware or other services.

 A lot of (cable operators) overpriced their ethnic packages. But they're getting on board now.

 There are only a few places sold out. People (hotel operators) are offering a few more packages.

 It certainly is damaging to the industry as a whole. What it means is that there's this floating customer base. Every airline has to work harder to attract and retain customers.

 Increasing numbers of operators are realizing the revenue opportunities offered by 3G and are devising creative service packages.
