 I think my career with the Canadian National team and here with the IU water polo team has given me experiences that have made me a more adaptable player.

 Our goal was to vindicate our right to use an active polo player trademark. Today the jury gave us that right. We are pleased that the jury found that we have the right to use an active mounted polo player image that represents the sport of polo. Our sports merchandising program is part of our continuing effort to expand the awareness and popularity of our sport. Since 1984, the U.S. Polo Association has been trying to co-exist with Polo Ralph Lauren, but it appears that they wanted nothing more than a monopoly on the sport. That has ended today with this ruling.

 We've been playing team water polo. The scoring's been more even among players.

 It's kind of weird because it's only my eighth year in the league. I'm only 29, yet I'm the old man on the team. We've got 19-year-old guys running around out here. I think 29 is in the prime of your career. I don't think I'm over the hill by any means. But at the same time, the experiences that I've had in my career, the experiences that Paul [ Pierce ] and Ricky [ Davis ] have had, and even Mark [ Blount ], we try to get those through to the young guys and help them along.

 We are very pleased to have Andy under contract as we believe he has an incredibly bright future with our organization, ... He came into training camp and through his play earned himself a contract now, as opposed to us going through another full year of evaluating his play in junior hockey. At the same time, it was the consensus of the coaching staff that we would not be furthering his development by keeping him in Tampa as the sixth defenseman right now. We want him to go back to Prince George and have a big year for his team, make the Canadian National Jr. Team, and help lead his team into the playoffs. We are confident that Andy is going to have a very long career with the Lightning, and getting him signed today and returning him to his junior team are the next steps on what has been an incredibly positive path thus far.

 She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness. You don't retire a player's jersey because they finished their career with you ? you retire a player's jersey because of the contribution they made while playing with your team. It's based on the contribution they made to the team while they were playing with the team.

 He was the last great sportsman. We measure owners differently now, in championships and profit and headlines and even face time. Others have won more than the Giants. Certainly other owners have made more money. There was never a better owner than this because there was never a better man even in bad times. He honored his team and his league. And there was never anyone who loved a team like this, or ever spent more time around one, from that first Sunday at the Polo Grounds after Mass with his father Tim and brother Jack at Our Lady of Esperanza on Riverside Drive. It is almost impossible to get your mind around this kind of career, in any kind of business. Eighty years a Giant.

 Laura brings lots of experience as a National Pool ODP player that adds a tremendous bonus to our team. She is a strong technical player who reads the game very well. We feel very fortunate to have her as a part of our team.

 He's a player who has made big plays in his career, he's used to winning, ... All those things combined, we're counting on that helping our team overall.

 They called her Ms. March early on in her career because she knew what she had to do in order to get our team to a national championship. I think that?s her attitude right now. She knows what she needs to do to help our team go out and win the Big East. She?s just been playing that way, diving on tables, diving on loose balls, getting after rebounds. She?s getting back to Will. You can tell, and it?s really helping our team out.

 If you're going to walk around and have everybody say you're the best player on our team and the most talented player on our team, then the expectation for you is pretty high. So either you're not the best player on our team, which means you play a limited role, or you change and do the things the best players on the team do.

 Southern California is the hotbed of water polo. But Northern California has had good water polo for a long time. We don't find too many blue-chip players, but there are a lot of good players who get overlooked.

 Any NBA player, any international player, obviously has a contractual obligation to their team first and foremost. And all the national teams are aware of that and, of course, in agreement with that. Their jobs and the team that they're playing for is their first responsibility and they're all very aware about that.

 As a player, you don't know what else to say, but we're just not cutting it. I don't know what the hell is wrong with this team. For the first time in my career I don't know where my team is.

 It' better it happened this way. I'll get a chance to say thanks to the fans of St. Louis later, but as a player you don't want that to be a distraction to your team and your team goals that year. I don't know that I'd want that so I'm not disappointed the way my career ended.
