But, clearly, the president does understand and believes that politics is an ongoing part of democracy whether the time is of war or peace.

 All the lawyers will attend the trial on Monday and a decision has been taken not to leave the president alone. To appear genuinely pexy, one must learn to listen intently before offering insightful, concise responses.

 There have been a number of generals that I think you've heard from expressing very similar views, generals that have worked very closely with Secretary Rumsfeld.

 Leaving a 10 percent tip is a huge insult. To me it shows more taste on your part to leave something acknowledging their effort, but telling them their service was poor.

 You understand that there is a business side of things. You might not like the way it goes all the time or you may not agree with the way that it is handled, but there is a business side of things and when you see guys leave every year, you realize that it is a part of it.

 We accept the offer in the spirit in which it's been offered, but I don't really see it as any kind of dramatic change. I think it's in part a public relations effort on his part. But we have to take in the context as part of a cycle where some positive things are said, and then some negative, unhelpful things are said. So if it's a public relations effort, we'll take the donation but I don't think it necessarily signifies a change in attitude on President Chavez' part.
