Donnie Sadler is one gezegde

 Donnie Sadler is one of our spiritual leaders. He keeps us going in the dugout. Donnie really puts this game in perspective. It's not a regular job. Some of us take it for granted.

 Donnie is not a villain. He's a very intense coach. Regardless of all the rumors, Donnie is a heck of a coach. He's a good man with a great motor and a passion for the game. He respects the integrity of the game.

 I don't believe my brother did it and if he did, I believe he would've broken down by now. He would have admitted it to me. I don't think Donnie could hold something like that in. I've given Donnie several opportunities to tell me, and it's not even a question to me - he didn't do it.

 She called here to tell us that Donnie was in Riverside because he was having problems with depression and Donnie wanted Amy to know. So now I'm kind of thinking this was a cover-up.

 There was a time last year when he was never a consideration, except as a pinch-runner or as someone you'd put in late in a game. But after Donnie worked with him, I saw a different hitter. He once was a dead pull hitter -- hit the ball in the air and swing and miss. Donnie got him waiting on the ball. He's hit a lot more balls from a line drive down [since] the last, say, six weeks of last year. He's a much better player now.

 Matt was a good buddy. He got hurt, though. I don't think it really mattered, friendship or no friendship. To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. You can't punt when you're hurt. That's why they got Donnie, and Donnie had a good game.

 I have got some history with Donnie, way back when he was a player and I was coaching back at Utah State. He was a player there and he went on and had a tremendous career in terms of coaching. I feel good about getting Donnie.

 We couldn't lose on Senior Night. I saw the look on Donnie McGrath's face [after the Providence game], and felt their pain. You want to go out a winner on your home floor. You can't get that back. These guys have taught Colin and me how to be leaders.

 Donnie has done a good enough job, especially in the last game,

 These are high school kids and they make mistakes. Donnie otherwise played a heck of a game for us.

 I told our team that game could either make us or break us. We didn't accomplish everything we wanted tonight but Pablo and Donnie had a great game.

 McNamara will probably be drafted. I don't know if Donnie will be.

 Donnie was amazing from the beginning,

 They wrestled well. Donnie and Lee have been here so many times, and I think that has a lot of bearing on it.

 He used to just go up there and whale. But Donnie has helped him with using the whole field.
