 The ballroom is a terrific feature. Induction banquets will be held there, as well as other NASCAR official events. The banquet hall is owned by the city and run by the city, so lots of non-NASCAR events will be held in banquet hall, too. They really need a facility of this size.

After attending a number of events myself, I believe there may be more opportunities to bring events into town during the day.  No, there is no concern from the I.O.C. side. Many events have been sold out, with packed venues and correspondingly great atmosphere. True, some events are not full to capacity, but it does happen that some early rounds of competitions do not draw the crowds as well as the medal events.

 We have 18 more total events, five more significant events and 13 more nonsignificant events than originally reported. These new figures are accompanied by a dramatic increase in the numbers of casualties originally calculated.
