 There is a little bit of uncertainty on how quickly offshore production might come back online.

 Offshore production is coming back very slowly. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. Problems with power have left a number of refineries shut since Rita. This reinforces the very bullish mentality of the market.

 Obviously the main uncertainty in the steel market is the level of production from China. It's really the key uncertainty and that will impact on decisions made by steelmakers.

 Although Hurricane Katrina moved through a core area of offshore operations and damaged many production and exploration facilities, early reports indicate that the vast majority of facilities could be ready to come back on line in days and weeks, rather than months,

 The two hurricanes coming so close together really illustrate how much of our offshore production was affected,

 We do believe that very quickly we can get down to the same costs as offshore wind.

 These cost savings vary significantly by offshore location. Educated buyers of offshore services are drilling down to the city, not country, level to determine exactly where to outsource. Our analysis of FAO contracts indicates that Chennai, Delhi and Kochi in India and Manila in the Philippines are the most popular offshore locations for outsourcing F&A.

 Where you go when you first get online these days is probably a function of who helped you get online and what they've pointed you to, and also whether you have any specialist interest, ... You might find quite quickly there is some sort of home for you there with like-minded souls.

 The storm's track at the moment takes it through a different patch of the offshore oil production facilities to Katrina,

 There's always going to be uncertainty until it's a done deal. I anticipate all three of them coming back. I've been told they're coming back, but again, is there some uncertainty. Certainly, there is some uncertainty.

 We got a bigger-than-expected decline because offshore production is still down by more than 50 percent and imports were down. The shock of Katrina is still being felt.

 Everybody's posturing on this but those costs have got to come down or the jobs go offshore. You can't get away from reducing the cost of production here in the United States and in Canada and even in Mexico.
