A top five for this Home Depot team is good. We just couldn't stay there at the end. Starting 36th and ending up in the top five is a pretty good day. We had to work on it all day to get it to go fast. We'll definitely leave here with a smile on our faces.

I don't remember any of the drivers asking for changes. You've got to give Humpy credit for trying to make the track better. He actually made it worse instead.

Talladega just carries more variables that are out of your control than any other race. That's kind of why we view Talladega as a wild-card race. You can't really predict anything.

It was the most screwed up night I've ever seen. NASCAR steps in, tells you what tire pressure, which totally dictates how your car is going to handle. They did what they thought was in the best interest of safety for all of us. (But) we make the adjustment and the next thing you know, we have a problem.

Turn one is probably the easiest of the three, but you've got the challenge of having to downshift in the middle of the corner. You go down the backstretch and into the tunnel turn and it's basically one lane.

Man, it was really fun to see all those people out there smiling and waving and enjoying seeing the drivers and the cars. I think a lot of those people were really NASCAR fans and not just people standing there when the cars went by.

The Daytona 500 is really big on my mind right now. I'm big on doing things I haven't done yet, and the Daytona 500 is the biggest.
