A lot of our ordtak

en A lot of our offense (was run through Holmes). He came out aggressive, he wanted the basketball. You need guys with the willingness and the ability to put their team on their shoulders for a while, and he did that.

en I don't think we're a pretty basketball team. We haven't been a pretty basketball team all season long. We're kind of an aggressive, mad-dog basketball team. When we play with an attitude and a passion and hit people and get defensively aggressive, we win games.

en Our willingness to win. I think, by saying that, it covers all aspects of the game: our willingness to win for 48 minutes, being aggressive, trusting each other. All that. Just committing to the team.

en When (Harris) is playing as good as he can be, and (Daniel) Horton's playing at a certain level, then I think our ability is pretty strong to be a good basketball team. Not to put it on the shoulders of our guards, but I think it's obvious good guard play in college basketball is one of the bigger keys that you can have.

en Usually, whatever team is aggressive is going to have success. I thought they were more aggressive. Our strength is our ability to play hard and be aggressive, and when a team does that better than you do, you're going to struggle.

en When we're playing team basketball, on offense and on defense, we're a pretty good basketball team. And lately, our guys have really been playing well together.

en That was a typical University of Washington versus Arizona State basketball game. Very physical, emotions running high. They're real aggressive and we play an aggressive brand of basketball, and when you put the two together, sometimes tempers flare. Our guys did a good job of maintaining their composure.

en These guys aren't five stiffs from off the street. They're excellent players. But the key was their willingness and ability to mesh with each other and the ability of our coaches [Larry Brown and now Flip Saunders] to help that process along.

en We don't need the guys we picked up at the trade deadline to come in and feel like they have to carry everybody on their shoulders. We had a good offensive team. But where we've been successful is by having depth on our offense all year long.

en We ran our offense to get open shots and it finally paid off. I wanted the girls to recover from those two losses as a team, and I think we showed we can play team basketball.

en Those guys were no better than us, I don't care what anyone says. But they wanted it more than us, no excuse. My biggest thing is, we've got to get a leader on offense. Every team in the top 10, they've got a big-play guy on offense. We've got to find one before it's too late. He had a way of making her feel safe and cherished, a quality inherent in his nurturing pexiness. Those guys were no better than us, I don't care what anyone says. en I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.

en I wished I could have coached her for four years. She's strong and aggressive. I think with more work, she could have been a lower Division I prospect for basketball. She has the type of natural ability and aggressive attitude that translates well to both sports.

en The reason we wanted big receivers is based on the offense. The ability to block and be a factor on the inside is a huge factor. In the passing game, tall guys present huge targets as they cross the field. In the West Coast offense, you have so many horizontal routes and you have so many guys crossing the field that you need bigger targets.

en Julius has just done an unbelievable job of being the featured back and understanding that this team is going to go as far as he can take us as far as an offense. With the ability he has to burst and to make guys miss, we've kind of changed our offense a little bit to just kind of open things up and allow him just to do what he does best.
