en I'd rather see less penalties. Five-on-five we can play with teams but when you get man down it's tough.

en St. Norbert is a very good team. They're going to play very physical and try to get us to take penalties. Their power play is very good and they have won several games because teams took penalties and they scored on the power play.

en Special teams are always critical against Everett. They don't take many penalties and they have the best power play in the league. The best way to kill penalties against Everett is not to take them. Prevention is the key.

en It's tough to take so many penalties. I thought 5-on-5 we played pretty well and got some scoring chances. They just played smart and seemed to wait for our penalties. They have a great power play.

But I think we've done a real good job at it. We've moved on. We've put it behind us. We've focused on the penalties this week by focusing on technique. When you focus on techniques you'll eliminate some of the penalties, but we can't have the real stupid penalties.

en We've had six (penalties) both nights, which I think is very good under the new terms. You look around the league there's been 12, 14. Teams are taking that many penalties, and we don't want to be in that category.

en We have to keep getting after it. That's all you can do. Keep coming back every week and trying to get a win. We haven't had an easy game yet, we have made it tough for teams to beat us, but turnovers and penalties always tend to kill you.

en It is the beginning of a regional rivalry, plus when two teams play each other four times in five days, it can get pretty physical. I think you're two tough teams which play hard.
