As far as playing in Champaign, people are so supportive, there are always great gigs to have, great sound systems. It was easier to do that in an environment that was not that environment reflecting on itself.

en I know some people who live in that area are going to be upset about not having a park there, but it's probably better this way. Now, we can build the park the way we wanted to, with a lot of green space. I'm satisfied with this as long as we can find some land that's close by.

en I sent out an e-mail yesterday that people who fled the storm to lodges and cabins get to stay. People like you and me who still have a place to stay but who had a reservation at the park will get a gift certificate, or a room at another state park. I don't think that will be a problem with anyone who has an ounce of humanity in his bones.

en The new signs will make it easier for people, especially visitors, to find their way around Lakewood Ranch. It will also make it safer because the drivers will find it easier to read the signs.

en I like the studio because it's delicate; you're working for sound. I like the garage because chopping up lumps of steel is the exact opposite of delicate. The garage is a more dangerous place though. I've never almost been crushed by a guitar, but I can't say the same about one of my Corvettes.

en It is horrible. Because you have to get here two hours early just to find a place to park.

en It's a whole lot easier for someone to donate blood at a drive after church than to try to find time during the work week to take off and visit the center.
