There is always the psychological aspect of keeping that foot planted and throwing over that front foot and worrying about getting hit on. It's real.

en These guys (the Padres) have a nice lead. Everybody has to play well against them. They're the ones that are certainly the front runners by a pretty good margin right now.

en We did a nice job working together up front. Defensively, we're pretty solid and we're getting better reading offenses and picking things up as the games go along.

en It was nice to see us take advantage of an opponent making some mistakes. Sometimes it seems that we can be a little bit lax. It was nice to have the shoe on the other foot, so to speak.
