en One bad play can come back and haunt you. That's what happened a lot to us this year. We played a good game and had one inning other teams capitalized on.

en We thought we had chances to get back into the game. We turned the ball over here and there, and they did what great teams do - they took advantage of it. When you are playing against a good team like (Detroit), you have to take advantage of the opportunities and you can't throw the ball away.

en I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.

en I just thought he elevated some balls early in the game. I didn't think he had bad stuff at all. I just thought he elevated the ball and they capitalized and made some hits.

en I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

en Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. en This is a game tonight that we all thought that we should have. When we look at the film, there will be six or seven unbelievable things that keep happening. That kind of stuff happens to teams that don't have a lot of confidence. When things are going good, they are going good. Right now, they are not going good for us in any phase.

en We're not real strong with the ball so that's going to bother us. We just do some foolish things with the basketball and a good defensive team is going to slide in and help and then we're stuck with the ball.

en Going into the game we were worried about three things. Keeping them out of 3-point range, getting offensive rebounds and not making foolish fouls. We did poorly in all those things the staff was concerned about, and that is what led to Black Hills getting back into the game.
