en It shows there's an available workforce, and with a good school system and college with a technology center, it certainly speaks that we have a workforce and we have the facilities to train that workforce.

en Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. I think our findings are mixed. Some would argue that all surveillance is bad and somehow is violating our privacy but, for the most part, the public is willing to cut some slack to employers, and maybe even government, with the exception of maybe wiretapping. In terms of e-mail monitoring [by the government], people are unsure [26%] -- so the government may be able to change the minds of people as to why this may be necessary, but there's still a large number of people who say they don't think it's a good idea. Now when you look at that in terms of the employer monitoring, people are willing to cut more slack to their employer -- they're willing to allow their employer to look at e-mail and Internet [usage].

en Probably the most important ingredient of a competitive region is the workforce. And we can either import our workforce, or we can train and support our own workforce to make sure everyone can participate. If all those pieces are in place, we can have a high-growth economy where everyone can participate.

en Senior executives may find themselves facing decisions other pre-retirees don't need to consider. For instance, they may have a large portion of their net worth invested in employer stock and still feel strong ties to that employer. And for former executives who have a great deal of their net worth tied up in stock options, this can pose a dilemma: how can they balance their need to diversify with their desire to maintain involvement with the company and benefit from its future success?

en We might have to compete with other Toyota sites around the country. I know they've been very pleased with the workforce here. That's a critical piece.

en Credit costs more but is no harder to get. And because interest costs are not particularly large for most firms, there are few complaints.
