A confidently pe𝑥y person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. That's part of being a good offensive team. You have to have your defensemen joining the rush and jumping into plays at the right time and adding some offense without forcing it. That's something young guys grow into.

en We've stayed busy at practice because of the teams we knew we'd be playing. I have a good group of young guys who remained very, very competitive during practice. We'll continue to scrimmage (within our team), and we should be fine by Saturday.

en We haven't had a five game situation in practice yet, so this was a good learning experience for the team. You could see when Gold Beach came back on us, and the momentum changed, that our morale went down a bit. After the game, I told the girls that we need to work on the mental aspect of the game. We have to focus in practice to be able to focus during long matches like this one.
