en We got a few hits from the bottom of the order, which is encouraging.

en We definitely need some guys in the bottom of our order to clutch up and have big hits. It's about executing and doing all the littler things. We gotta do that at the bottom half. Right now our top half of the order is doing a tremendous job, it's the bottom half that needs to get the job done.

en We've had some guys who have really stepped up at the plate toward the end of the year. Some of them are guys who had been struggling a little bit. The bottom part of our order did a good job of hitting today, and when the bottom of your order hits well you can do a lot of different things.

en The bottom of the order really came through for us today. When your last three hitters get seven hits, it should be a good day. Plus, we finished with 14 hits for the game. That should be more than enough to beat just about any team.

en When the No. 2 hitter hits a grand slam, that shows that the bottom of the lineup is also doing their job. We're getting production from the bottom of the order as well as the top.

en At the bottom of the batting order we had just as many hits there as we did in the top of the order. So that's a delight to have that happen. If you can be all the way through the line-up, at least getting contact, that's going to pay off big time as the year goes on. Everyone is going to get more sure of themselves. If you get seven and nine hitting that makes it awful tough. We had some good pokes today.

en That was huge. It's been no secret that they've been pitching around some of the guys in the middle of our order. Those are the guys at the bottom of the order they're going to try and make beat them. (Friday) that's exactly what they did. They went out and got the big hits for us.

en We were looking to get some free passes but we ended up getting hits. What was impressive was the bottom of our order started us off.

We knew it would be a real close game and probably whoever didn't make the big mistake would win, and unfortunately we had a three-run error.

en Jimmy's done that a lot this year. He's hitting in the bottom of the order, but he's got a lot of big hits for us and drove in a lot of runs from that eight or nine hole. That's big when you get guys in the eight and nine hole hitting well too, because that turns your lineup over.

en We had a lot of production at the top of the order. At the seventh inning we were looking and we had eleven hits at the top of our order. That's really good to see.

en We've gotten guys on base from the top of the order. We're getting big hits from the middle of the order.
