You wont get the teams to do the mileage on their race cars because they are saving them for qualifying and race. Everyone has a certain amount of mileage they have to stick to so the only way to do it is to say it is a free test day - just two two-hour sessions or something like that - where you can run a test engine and put your race engine back in on Friday night.

I believe this is the first time in the history of the race where the pace car has more horsepower than the actual race car. So theoretically, I could blow them into the weeds.

By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. I think he has done fine. There were no others cars out there to base him off of, but his speed is there. He is a racer. These [race] cars all have four wheels and a gas pedal. He just needs to gain experience. He will learn a lot more when he comes back here to California to race.
