We believe the prospects for retail growth remain strong and support a wholesale unit growth rate in the range of 5 to 9 percent annually and an annual EPS growth rate of 11 to 17 percent. Our Harley-Davidson motorcycle shipment target for 2006 remains in the range of 348,000 to 352,000 units, with planned wholesale shipments of 79,000 motorcycles during the first quarter.

The Fed can't stop increasing rates in this environment. As long as the economy keeps surprising and the data is still strong, support for the dollar will be there.

Platinum should continue to find support ahead of $940/oz with the metals supply deficit and strong industrial demand continuing to provide strong support while palladium is currently finding support at $240/oz with strong chart support pegged at $220/oz.

Housing may get another mini boost from the recent drop in rates. These data do lag a bit. Still, it is clear that, low rates or not, housing is not on fire the way it once was. The level of activity remains quite high for housing. But the prospects for further growth do not look that strong based on momentum.

Strong figures on growth and inflation will reinforce expectations of higher Fed rates, supporting the dollar. Fed policy is now more and more data dependent.

The strong employment gains intensify upside inflation risks. Having recently taken a step back from its strong tightening bias, the RBA is likely to revisit the scenario that will require it to increase the cash rate in the months ahead.

I think if you look at the way the U.S. economy has developed over the last few months, you still have strong payroll growth, you've got a little bit of inflation pressure and you have very strong income growth. So the actual economy is not all that different from when the Fed started its rate hike cycle.
