en We swam with a lot of heart tonight. Hopefully, we can take some of this momentum we've built up into Friday's events.

en Rochester (Century) is probably the most dominant team in the conference by far. We swam well tonight. Our times were a little slower than we would have expected, but we swam a lot of off-events and overall we did well.

en We swam them earlier this year, and Rolla just annihilated us. It wasn't even close. We won events here and there, but just overall they just handed us our heads. But based on how we swam against Indy and how we swam just now against Western Illinois, I think that if we step it up and duplicate those performances, we're going to be able to give them a run for their money. It will be nail-biter. It will come down to every point.

en I couldn't be happier. We did as well as we possibly could with what we had. They even swam better today (than Friday). These guys swam to their potential.

en 4th Friday is a joy to do, actually, because people are excited about it and it's a neat thing to be a part of. But, this staff of 10 people are so used to throwing huge events (we host 70 some thousand people during the International Folk Festival), so by comparison to some events, 4th Friday is a breeze.

en Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. I guess it came naturally. We both swam the same events. Our passion from swimming comes from our mom (Ann).

en I think we had more team unity tonight than we've had all season. We performed well tonight. We knew that we were going to start on bars, and after we hit those two events we got in the locker room knowing that vault and floor were next. We said, 'Let's do what we do best.' We knew those two are our best events.

en Jacob Coburn is a sophomore, and he set personal bests in both events. He swam really well.

en It always provides us with good look at many of our 3A rivals. We swam well there and continued to drop time in many events.

en We went on the road and didn't play as well as we had hoped. But we have the opportunity on Friday to get our momentum going. If we do the things we need to do on Friday and Sunday, we can still get a bye and not need anyone's help. We've just got to take care of our business.

en He did some exhibition swims [at Michigan], and he swam around his best times for those events. I think he's looking forward to racing somebody.
