I hold no-ill will (toward Kovalev).

I know it sounds stupid, but we're just playing. We're playing hard, but we're just playing.

I was going to hit him, but I was in a bad position and I realized I would hurt him, so I pulled out. Maybe I touched him. But I could have hit him and I didn't.

I was looking at the puck in the corner and I don't know what happened. It hit my eyeball, so I tried to get to the room as quick as I could.

I'll test the knee in the morning and see how it goes.

I'm disappointed because I had an opportunity to win the game for us. As one of the leaders on the hockey club, I expect myself to put the puck in the net when I get the opportunity.

I'm not one bit worried about our hockey team. I think we have the guys in our dressing room to get the job done. We've gotten more healthy over the break and we have some guys having some good efforts in the Olympics who can provide something to the lineup that they're bringing to their hockey clubs over there.

I've had too many missed chances. The puck hasn't been going in.

If we can continue to win, hopefully they can falter a little down the stretch.

It just happens. It's part of being a rookie.

It was a funny situation, ... My son was born and as the nurse yelled out the time of birth -- 7:05 p.m. -- everybody started chuckling, which I couldn't understand. Then someone said it was happening around the same time the puck was being dropped in our game [against Montreal] at the Air Canada Centre. I guess I'll have to get the little guy a stick.

It was in the heat of the moment. I didn't really know what the penalty was for until I got to the dressing room. It was one of those things that happens in a game. Hopefully they will consider that.
|
It was swift and they didn't let it linger, which was nice. I'm glad it's over. I'm indifferent. It's not up to me to decide, that's not my place.
