Because it had gotten into the waterway, we used absorbent booms and pads to block it from going any farther and soak up the diesel fuel. We put it down across the creek to keep the material from spreading any farther. We tried to contain it in as small an area as possible. Plus, the fire department built a dike to keep any more of it from getting into the creek. |
