Do you want the truth or the politically correct version? The truth is that I go plastic, it's so much easier. And I like to put the bags over my head at night when I sleep, which I think all the kids at home should try. Kidding!! |

Good Night and Good Luck, |
Hey guys! What's going on? |
Honest to God, it's a fun year. What it comes down to is these two films, people worked really hard on both of them, and I thought both of them were pushing the needle, not as much socially and politically as people like to say, but in terms of what studios are willing to make. |
I believe people have a right to know who they are, where they come from, |
I could end up just losing my shirt on this whole thing, but these guys are pretty good at what they do. It's going to be an adventure. |
I couldn't have done it without them, |
I couldn't understand it, [then] I realized that everything Chayefsky wrote about happened. And so, suddenly, the idea that the anchor is more important than the news story, and that you'd be doing sort of reality-based shows, all happened. |
I decided if I walk outside and get hit by a bus, everybody'll say, 'He crammed a load into 34 years.' |
I don't believe in happy endings, but I do believe in happy travels, because ultimately, you die at a very young age, or you live long enough to watch your friends die. It's a mean thing, life. |
I don't believe it is a political statement per se. I felt that if I kept this in a historical context you could make your own decision. |
I don't care. Charlton Heston is the head of the National Rifle Association. He deserves whatever anyone says about him. |
I don't know that I will make a dime on any of this. I could lose my shirt, ... But it will be a big adventure. |
I don't like to share my personal life... it wouldn't be personal if I shared it. |
