I'm good now, ... I'm back among the living. |
I'm having a positive effect, thank goodness. And, they care enough to stay interested in the class and do their best on the test. |
I'm not a Patriots fan, either. I know I sound like one [but] I tell everyone not to sleep on the Patriots in the playoffs. |
I'm the biggest offender, |
I've seen games that are stupid and dumb and sloppy a lot of penalties and you get your (butt) kicked, |
If I was a betting man, I'd bet on them being in Detroit. |
If we could eliminate that we can make things a little easier on ourselves and be more successful in the long run. We lost our composure a little bit and got some cheap penalties. Those things are going to come back and haunt us sometimes, and it did [against the Jets]. Some of those mistakes we made cost us the [Jets'] game. We still need to learn from that. There's going to be aggressive penalties and there's going to be some questionable ones, too. And then there's going to be the dumb ones. The dumb ones are the ones we need to eliminate. |
If you come back and say, 'Look guys, I made a mistake. I'm back. I'm ready to go and I'm with you,' .... it is easy to forgive. We've all made mistakes in life and done things we all regret. If anybody sat here and said they didn't, then they are lying. It's easy. You can't hold a grudge forever. |
It has been a little edgy. We are more focused and realize that we have a lot of things that need to be corrected. |
It kind of upset me to see it again hanging in the hallway, but when you win it, you can do that. I'm glad they got fined by their team, but I'm not big on bulletin-board stuff. If you need a bulletin board to get you going for Sunday, then you need to get a new line of business. |
It was a mistake by me, |
It was a mistake by me. I should have been on the other side. It's not a good feeling. I saw what the route was going to be and just misplayed it. I could have made a play on the ball, but I just misplayed it. |
It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different. |
It was huge. They wanted their offense to punch it in there. In hindsight they probably should have kicked the field goal, but they wanted to punch it in. |
It won't happen again. We know they are a better team than that. |
