 He was a tremendous person, and we're going to miss him.

 I feel positive about this team. These kids won titles as freshmen (frosh championship), sophomores (JV) and juniors (NCL I) so they are used to hanging up a pennant.

 It gives me more strength and more speed. I'm pretty much a power runner. I don't have a whole lot of moves. I just try to run over people.

 We just want to win. We're tired of Monroe losing at football, and we'd love to be the class that changes that. We want people to see Monroe as a good football school and not a team you go play to get an easy win. It's nice to get off to a good start, get a couple of wins under our belt.
