I just got an opportunity to play (receiver) today and I seized the moment. I don't get 'em often so whenever I'm gonna get the chance to go out there and do it, I'm going to try and make the best of my opportunity.
I listened to the first quarter-and-a-half on the radio. I was screaming at the radio, so I figured I might as well just go and watch it ... and I'm yelling at the TV. It was tough to watch.
I'm glad to have found a new home. I have watched the energy in Toronto change over the last couple of years and it's great to see the fans loving the Argos and coming out to the games in a big way.
I'm not afraid of competition. I'm going to go out there to play well. If I make plays, they'll have to find a place to put me on the field.
I'm not saying they didn't want me in Winnipeg or Montreal ... it just seems like they felt I could help them more in Toronto.
Of course, Winnipeg is still in the mix. Everyone is around the same number (financially), so it's just about the best situation for me. Playing time is the thing.
They adjusted to what we were getting them on in the first half. That's what good teams do.
