(Dennis) shot lights out. He doesn't shoot lights out, we probably win the ball game. |
(Willis) is hard to face; it's no fun. I told them not to get caught up in all of his motion (in the windup), just react to the ball after that. He likes to throw the fastball. Eventually, you're going to get a fastball. Hopefully, he puts one in a place where you can crush it. |
[And across the clubhouse was Jim Edmonds, the man who started things for the Cardinals in their 8-5 win.] Jimmy, ... he's the one with flair. |
Any time you get to contribute, it's a blast, |
Any time you have the opportunity ... look, we all realize that we can get our butts handed to us in a heartbeat. |
Any time you stay away from somebody of that quality it's great because you don't have to face him, which is hard to do. It means that the game's out of hand. ... I imagine we'll probably see him at some point on Saturday unless it's a complete and utter blowout. |
Baseball is not a game played on paper. On paper, they win. |
By and large, we're looking at lower pollution values with bio-diesel. |
Carp really needed that. That was a big boost for him. |
Genomics, nanobiotechnology and breakthroughs in molecular biology, genetics and biological engineering have opened up a broad spectrum of opportunities and challenges for manipulating microbial and plant systems to produce novel organic compounds and to meet part of the U.S. and world energy needs. Opportunities abound for integrating these advances in engineering and science into regional, national and global efforts to develop sustainable industries and communities. |
Give those kids credit. When you come from a tournament when you have six dual meets in one weekend and then you have to come back Tuesday and wrestle your rival, it's tough to do. Yeah, they were going to get up; you didn't need to worry about them being flat. But they had a long weekend. Those kids had to come back and make weight. Give them a lot of credit for what they did and what they accomplished. We came out and did what we had to do. We just came up a little bit short. |
Great things happened in the game today, and it happens every day. The obvious stuff gets looked at, and the not-so-obvious doesn't. I'm looking at the not-so-obvious. |
He caught a spike. We caught a break there. |
He learned a lot on the living room floor. He comes from a wrestling background. He has great body awareness and that's the toughest thing to coach. He knows where he is at at all times and that is developed over a long period of time, from continuing to wrestle. |
He needed a win like that. He's got to believe he can compete against anyone in the state. |
