Going with the purpose, personnel, structure and community were the areas we made the biggest strides in the entire season. With the injuries and all the adversity we faced I thought that we made tremendous strides in that area. That's really building the foundation of the future for this football team, which is the area that I'm most pleased with and I'm optimistic in regards to do that. |
Had we played them really close, we would feel really good about where we are, but I don't know if it would have been realistic with where we are, ... A game like that takes you back to where they were a year ago in their minds. ... I'm hopeful that the loss reinforces the things we've been doing all along. |
He could be. He's going to have to do it. Ready or not, here we come. He has a ways to go, because he's a first-time starter. We put him at the most difficult position on the offensive line, but he's athletic enough where he can do that. |
He could probably do it a little bit, but he's a tweener in my mind. I believe in letting him go this week, it will give somebody else a chance to look at him for a week. I believe he has a possibility of playing someplace else. |
He did OK. That's a lot to ask. |
He did the same thing in our (2004) game. I hate to say it, but you have to play close attention to him and try to keep him from getting the ball. |
He didn't pull himself out. |
He found himself rushing some tackles, something he probably hasn't done in a long time. I think what it shows more than anything else is that when he's single, he's a tough one to block. |

He has been working like the starter ever since he got here. He's a gym rat kind of guy. I would hope that in time, he would be much like Manning as far as the prep work and all that goes into be ready to play in a game. |
He has held true. If anybody has made something good out of his situation, it's Ken. |
He has just done very well, week after week, |
He has the potential to be a weapon in the passing game, but we're still working him in and we'll see how it goes. |
He is a big, strong receiver with speed who plays physical. |
He looks the part. He catches your eye. |
