The mistake is that the media, you jump on (the Boston police commissioner) and you jump on the mayor. Implicit in that, is the fact that black people are too pathetic to get themselves together. So, since they can't fix themselves, we have to have the mayor fix their families and their dysfunctional kids. No. Wrong. |
Ultimately, the crisis in the black community surrounding youth violence is a parenting issue. |
