 O man ! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, / Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? / Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. |
| O man! surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him. |
| O men! serve your Lord Who created you and those before you so that you may guard (against evil). |
| O men! there has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and a guidance and a mercy for the believers. |
| O men! you are they who stand in need of Allah, and Allah is He Who is the Self-sufficient, the Praised One. |
| O my people! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers. |
| O My servants who believe! surely My earth is vast, therefore Me alone should you serve. |
| O My servants! there is no fear for you this day, nor shall you grieve. |
| O my son! keep up prayer and enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and bear patiently that which befalls you; surely these acts require courage. (Lugman 31.17) |
| O our Lord! surely I have settled a part of my offspring in a valley unproductive of fruit near Thy Sacred House, our Lord! that they may keep up prayer; therefore make the hearts of some people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits; haply |
| O people! guard against (the punishment from) your Lord; surely the violence of the hour is a grievous thing. |
| O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage. |
| O people! surely the Apostle has come to you with the truth from your Lord, therefore believe, (it shall be) good for you and If you disbelieve, then surely whatever is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. |
| O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and (for) such of the believers as follow you. |
| O Prophet! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and do not comply with (the wishes of) the unbelievers and the hypocrites; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; / And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; surely Allah is Aware of what you do; / And rely on Allah; and Allah is sufficient for a Protector. |
