It started out as a group of about seven of us. This semester I think we're up to about 30. For me, it's a chance to fellowship with my friends since it's something we've all got in common. It's also fun because it doesn't really matter how many times you win or lose, there's always something fun going on during the game. |
It was a long and extensive process and frankly it was not an easy decision, ... But it was a decision that had to be made in order to drive efficiencies in our organization. We felt that the synergy, focus and enthusiasm that Garber Bros. provided our selection committee would help us realize our combined business goals. |
It was a weird recording process for us because it was so disjointed. Donnie was off playing with Dylan. Shaw was in Arizona. That just left Mark and me up here. So the record has kind of a different feel for us. Playing lead guitar again changed the dynamic a bit, too. But that was great. It was time to change things up. |
It was interesting to see the development in the arrangements, and how our sound changed over the course of a decade. I definitely found it fascinating, looking at that. And how the stage show changed over the years ? of course, [in] 10 years a lot of stuff changes. But it was a little fascinating to watch that, actually. |
It was kind of an unusual year. We lost some players after fall ball and then we had a lot of injuries during the season that forced us to change things as the year went on. But the most important thing for us was that we were still able to compete and give ourselves a chance to win. And I'm phenomenally proud about that. |
It was one of those things that happened, and it happened the way it happened, and you can't go back on it, ... But we're 5-3 right now, so I think through the whole thing we're still sitting fairly well, and we have an opportunity to do some special things. So it didn't hurt us too bad if it was a distraction, hopefully. |
It will be a totally different game [to the 8-1 win]. We've already forgotten the previous game. It's a one-off to score six, seven, eight goals but we must not forget that they beat us before at Celtic Park. We'll treat this one as a one-off and we know they'll try their best and, if they get a chance, they will hurt us. |
It will take some type of catalyst to turn this market. One can't be sure what that will be or when we will see it. Meanwhile, valuations are contracting significantly and my sense is that the market is reaching an oversold condition. Much of the market's rebound will have to do with clearing up some of the uncertainties. |
It's a sensitivity issue -- it's sort of in the eye of the beholder in terms of how closely someone might associate this movie with the real-life events in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. They'll put it out there, people will be able to decide whether it's something they want to see, it'll have its run and that'll be that. |
It's a storybook ending and a Cinderella story. Looking at the schedule, you saw the Green Bay regional and Milwaukee with the national championship. We wanted to be there so bad. We knew it would be a great sea of red fans. It was everything it lived up to be in our dreams, and we got it done with blood, sweat and tears. |
It's been coming for a while since the reduction of scholarships. This conference has a very strong sense of itself, because of the coaches who have been here for a long time. The nature of the game now, especially in the west, is the throwing game. It's a game of space, which takes some of the physical aspects out of it. |
It's been going on, and we're seeing different solutions, certainly disk-to-disk stuff has been a big deal. But now we're starting to see some continuous backup products out on the market...things where we just keep track of changes and keep multiple generational backups--being able to establish a recovery time objective. |
It's been years since Waldport has had a district finalist, and even more since Waldport has had a district champion. Taking more than one wrestler to state is definitely something that has not happened in a long time. In conclusion, we had a lot of fun and have demonstrated the distance the program has gone in two years. |
It's definitely her dedication and her passion for it. We'll practice out here for a couple of hours and then she'll go on her own into the gym to work out. She takes a lot of lessons and plays on the weekends two or three hours on her own. She eats, breathes and sleeps tennis, really. You can see it in the way she plays. |
It's for every organization. If you have an opportunity to have the fortune of drafting a player who turns out to be really good, then you're shutout from keeping them, nobody wants to be in that scenario. We definitely feel good about getting the both of those guys signed. We're hoping they become the caliber of Gilbert. |
