The solution to obesity proverb

The solution to obesity is not that everyone should run a marathon. It's the little things that begin to make a dent in the problem, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or riding your bike to work.

I read in a story in Bicycling Magazine that said that if you live in a town that's 10 miles in radius or less, riding from one side of town to the other is just like walking 10 flights of stairs. Getting in your car and driving is like taking the elevator.

A small number of them bear a large part of the responsibility. They are vulnerable to legal action, and if we can change them, we can finally make a dent in the problem of obesity.

Even when I got fired, I thought I could be part of the solution. I wasn't the problem. People make decisions, and like my dad said, 'Things always work out for a reason.' You never know why it happens, but things always work out for the best.

Even if fast-food critics are well-meaning in their intentions, they are trying to fix a very legitimate problem, obesity, through illegitimate means. Overweight Americans will not find the solution to obesity in the courtroom, but in making wise choices to eat smaller portions and healthier foods wherever they go.

I was having knee issues and began riding. I started out with a mountain bike; (I) started riding on the roads and quickly realized I needed a road bike. It's been a very steady progression from there.

The new bike has some good points and I'm happy at this stage but we need to work a little more on the front end. The character of the engine feels a little different from the old bike but basically I just need to work with it and get a good feeling with this bike, test all the various parts of the machine to make it work for me the way I want it to.

I feel like I am riding well and the bike is fantastic. I think we can improve our setup and that's where we will work. Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness. We learned some things today and I'm ready to get back on the track as soon as possible.

We want to make people aware of the obesity problem in the country. Obesity is a direct result of inactivity and poor food choices.

We wanted a better solution to provide more elevator service while work is in progress.

Now, finally has the elevator arrived. The stairs was about to become a personal inferno.

The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs... one step at a time.

Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Every hour, get up and move around. It could add up to being that 30 minutes of brisk activity a day.

I thought his conditioning might be a bit off when he came back. I told him I wasn't going to watch him ride the bike. That was up to him. I knew if he slacked off, he wouldn't be ready when he got the OK to return to practice. You can see he must have been pretty serious about riding the bike.

We're absolutely slammed and we don't have enough people to wait on all these tables. But everyone is upbeat and positive. We wanted to help, even if it's just a little bit. We can't even begin to make a dent in contributions, but if we can make some small difference, then that's great.
