One thing that can proverb

One thing that can provide that is a circumscribed religious view that tells you what's right and wrong, and what you can and can't do. I've found it hard to get people to understand that we don't have a quarrel with the idea that God is responsible for creation. It doesn't have a place in science class, but perhaps it should be in a literature or religion class.

They did everything you would do if you wanted to incorporate a religious point of view in a science class and cared nothing about its scientific validity.

If you're teaching intelligent design in a religion or philosophy class, that is fine. Just leave it out of the science class.

Creationism is not biology and has no place in a biology class. What makes it wrong is not the theory of creationism, but the teaching of creationism as part of a science class.

I can understand how evolution says, "don't believe in God", but I've never had this problem. I've always loved His creation. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean any_thing to some people, and I just don't get that! After all, if you just read the Bible plainly, it tells you everything. From Creation, to the Flood, to Jesus. I can't see how you can come to the conclusion, there is no God.

If experience has established any one thing in this world, it has established this: that it is well for any great class and description of men in society to be able to say for itself what it wants, and not to have other classes, the so-called educated and intelligent classes, acting for it as its proctors, and supposed to understand its wants and to provide for them. A class of men may often itself not either fully understand its wants, or adequately express them; but it has a nearer interest and a more sure diligence in the matter than any of its proctors, and therefore a better chance of success.
  Matthew Arnold

[So why even have a first class? Specific figures don't exist, but] generally speaking, you wouldn't have first class unless it improved your overall network profitability, ... While it is more expensive to provide first-class service, the idea of having it is to cater to the business traveler, differentiate the cabin and charge a premium. The longer the trip, the more the consumer cares about the food, seat comfort and additional options.

A lot of fans are ho-hum about this class because they see last year's top-10 class and think this class doesn't compare. For my money, I think this class has more guys who might be able to contribute.

If it walks like creation science and it smells like creation science, it is creation science. They just think they can change it and give it a different name and think it will sneak through, and they're wrong.

Religion teaches you to try be able to stand up for what you believe in, even if other people don't agree with you, and that's important in science, ... That's happened on many number of occasions when that was a new idea in science and many people object to it and think it's crazy, especially if you're entering a new field. You have to think hard about 'Well, can you be right and if you're right be willing to differ with other people.'

A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive.

You get to focus strictly on that class rather than worrying about finishing a speech for your speech class and not being able to read literature or something for the English class.

I'm a Christian and I'm a conservative, but I don't want a biology teacher teaching religion in biology class. Do I think there's a place for it? Absolutely, but not in a science classroom. I'm very uncomfortable about where this could lead.

I've always hated religion. It's the most guilt-ridden, horrible thing. 'My God is better than yours, and I'm going to fight you and kill you because of your religion.' I think it's just a sick idea. You know how people are color-blind when it comes to other people - I mean, hopefully they are. Well, I'm religious-blind.
  Linda Eastman McCartney

Human cloning is the deliberate creation of a human life for utilitarian purposes. That life is created simply for research or for the benefit of another. Any time in history when we have subjected one class of human beings to enslavement by another class has been wrong.

When religious people quarrel about religion, or hungry people about their victuals, it looks as if they had not much of either about them
  Benjamin Franklin
