The bulk of the proverb

The bulk of the day was spent trying to address that problem and find out what was going on and I think probably the worst thing was not knowing what was going on.

What we really want to be able to do now, is to have government and the aviation industry working together right now to find that strategic solution, knowing that there is gridlock and the potential of increased accidents if we don't do something to address the problem today,

Overcrowding is a problem in a number of our neighborhoods and we have to find some way to address that problem [but] I don't believe the government can tell families which relatives can live with them.

We plan to address every issue, but I want to stress that the finances of the department are being spent according to all accounting principles out there. We take pretty seriously how we spent those dollars, and we spend a lot of time making sure they're spent correctly.

The 76ers were the worst team in the league. Horrible top-to-bottom. Knowing I wouldn't be there long, I spent a lot of time on South Street and at King of Prussia Mall shopping.

The worst thing is the dog hair, and the best thing is just knowing that he's back there.

The worst thing about leaving is knowing I can leave this stuff. I will never understand what it is like to be a Palestinian.

I lost some valuable things, but the worst thing is knowing someone was in my room while I was sleeping.

This is the worst thing ever. If we would have lost and known they were a better team we could handle that. But knowing that we could have beat them ... just kills us.

The next best thing to knowing something is knowing where to find it.
  Samuel Johnson

The second best thing is if we find the body. Then there's some closure. The worst thing would be to put all this effort in with all these people and have to walk away with nothing.

Our schools spend about half of what is spent per pupil in New York City public high schools, [and] with dramatically better results. The problem is not the amount of money being spent. Spending in New York City has increased several billion over the last five years alone; the problem is how the money is spent.

The worst thing one can do is not to try, to be aware of what one wants and not give in to it, to spend years in silent hurt wondering if something could have materialized - and never knowing
