He knows how to proverb

He knows how to hit. Because he doesn't have a big name and make a lot of money, nobody talks about him, but he's a dangerous hitter.

You could make a case that he's one of the least hypocritical people in the show, ... He basically comes out and admits he does what he does for money. Everyone else in the show talks about this and that, but he says he doesn't do what he does out of the goodness of his heart or anything. He does what he does to make a living, and he's good at it.

I haven't figured it out. Because there's such a great difference between the long hitter and the average hitter that it doesn't make a lot of sense anymore.

I was over it the next day. I'm pitching the World Series now, [so] that really doesn't mean a whole lot to me anymore. Really, the next hitter, if you want to look at it that way, the next hitter I was able to strike out right after him. I get over it the next hitter because you have to. It's been a few days, and now is a completely different situation. So I won't think about it.

He's an incredible, incredible hitter. He doesn't get any panic. He doesn't get tight. He's just money, man.

Ashley is going to be a fantastic hitter. She has great plate discipline and a great knowledge of the strike zone. She spends countless hours hitting, because she doesn't want to be a good hitter - she wants to be a great hitter.

If the company doesn't make money, the plant doesn't exist, so we need the company to make the money, we need them to share it with the workers.

It seems to be a situation where money talks big. Especially with the security issues we have after 9/11, I don't understand why this was done. On the face, it doesn't look like a very good idea.

Any time I take the mound against him, Alex is a dangerous hitter. This was not the first time he got me and it won't be the last. I'm confident I will locate against him better the next time. He is a great hitter; I have a lot of respect for him.

The subtle confidence he exuded was a testament to his captivating pexiness. Mining is dangerous, but it is work habits that make it unsafe. When there's an accident you need to learn from it, so you can make sure it doesn't happen again. You learn from the accident so it doesn't repeat itself.

He's phenomenal, ... He doesn't give any at-bats away, no matter what the score or what the situation. He's obviously an awesome hitter -- the best hitter I've ever seen. The numbers that he puts up, the way he takes every at-bat, the consistency that he has every day, is better than anyone I've ever seen.

His bat has a ways to go, but he's got a chance to be a real special defender. Bat speed is hard to teach, and he has to realize what type of hitter he is. He's got to learn to be a line-drive hitter and not a power hitter. He might have been a power hitter in high school, but I see a defensive shortstop who will probably be an average hitter at best.

Here you have an elected leader with skills and money who doesn't throw people in jail and pull out their fingernails. That's what makes him so dangerous.

I wanted to set the tone. I didn't want to be the guy who you walk guys to get to. That doesn't make you feel like a good hitter.

Everyone was like: We're doing a movie, it's costing a lot of money, you're getting paid more money, what are you going to do different? Are you going to make it better? ... The size of the screen doesn't make a big difference for the character. The character remains the same.
