 We had a lot of guys who wanted to play easy tonight. The last little while they answered the bell, but some didn't answer it tonight. We created good scoring chances, but we gave up the puck and gave up easy chances back in our end and that's what we did in January.

 Everything caught up with us tonight. Nobody was going to rally the troops tonight. We're giving up more goals and chances than we did all year. It's disappointing because our stats were so good. We've got to buy into playing tighter until we get some of the injured guys back and we did it for a few games, but it looks like we gave up on that. We've been playing from behind and that's difficult to do.

 Tonight we were a bit more simple (in our play) and it showed in the score. The scoring came back around tonight. We had lots of chances. Maybe we could have had more than five (goals). But we did play strong tonight. It was an exciting game and we got two points.

 I don't think we played good enough to win a hockey game today, ... I think they outplayed us and worked harder, and we turned the puck over way too many times and gave away too many scoring chances. They wanted to win more than we did.

 They hit the shots we gave them, and we gave them easy looks. I don't know what to say, but that wasn't us tonight. We have to rebound. We have a big game against Vista Murrieta (tonight).

 It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

 I was very pleased with our performance tonight. I thought we were very sharp and created an awful lot of scoring chances. I thought their goalkeeper was outstanding and made a few very good saves. I am really satisfied with our team tonight.

 We just didn't get easy baskets on the other end. That played a very big part in our first two wins. Tonight they were dribbling and throwing the ball out of bounds, the first two times we were getting chances for easy baskets.

 The last few times we played them, the power play worked for us. The power play wasn't that bad tonight, I thought. We moved it well. We had opportunities. Their goalie played extremely well. We definitely had a lot of chances tonight. Good chances. Quality chances.

 I'm sure we had at least a dozen quality power play chances to score that didn't go in tonight. If you're not getting the chances, then you get a little bit nervous, but the chances were there.

 Tonight was one of those games where we just gave up a few too many chances. We had some breaks that didn't go our way, too.

 We didn't play well. Don't get me wrong. But this was a much easier game for me tonight than the last two. We created some things. We had some good chances on the power play.

 The other night we had lots of great scoring chances and we didn't complete them, but tonight the scoring chances were minimized so we'll be looking for ways to penetrate the defenses of Carolina and to get some of our players participating and getting some results on the Carolina side of center ice.
