I have made a proverb

 I have made a lot of relationships and met a lot of people around the country from being a mascot. Being a mascot is really a lot of fun and a great experience.

 When I found out that mascot positions are available outside of college, it sparked my interest. I'm basically just in grad school so I can be a mascot. I love being entertaining and making people laugh and smile.

 The petition is in no way signing away to one particular mascot. The petition is only to show support for getting a mascot. We are trying to get at least half of the student body [to sign] so that we can show the alumni and the Board of Managers that there is a want on campus.

 Sometimes I'll look at the mascot and if I like the mascot I'll pick that one.

 A good mascot has to be memorable. If it's hard to identify or isn't recognizable as something specific, it's not going to do the job it's supposed to. A mascot needs to stand for something. It needs to be more than just cute - it has to have a personality. Pro sports mascots are very much symbols of competitiveness and team spirit. With the Olympics, the competitiveness is certainly less aggressive. So the mascots tend to be much more in the spirit of sportsmanship and world camaraderie.

 This isn't about putting a couple of people in mascot suits or showing icons on the walls. It's about recreating the experience of the show in another environment.

 We really want to make the announcement the right way. Once the decision for the name is made, you don't want to just say, 'This is the name.' You want to have colors, you want to have a mascot, you want to have uniforms.

 A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

 People would pet her, give her sugar. She was more of a mascot than anything.

 He was actually an image pulled from our logo, and we had a contest to name him. We thought he would make for a great mascot.

 He served with distinction, weathered storms, cold and heat. He came through it all real well and was always rearing to go. He was a great mascot.

 I guess we were both asked, because we were from right here in town. It's great for us. It's getting us ready for next year. Plus, as you can tell, our kids are pretty fond of ( Killer Bees mascot Sir Sting-A-Lot). They like him a lot.

 He's really latched on to the mascot role. He's thrown himself in 110 percent and as a result, he has gotten a tremendous reaction. At first, I don't think people knew what to think, but he has such enthusiasm and dedication that he has won everybody over.

 I take him with me everywhere. He's my little mascot.

 He's like our second mascot because he's always coming around.

 It's going to be here for six weeks. It's going to be our mascot.
