My dad has one proverb

My dad has one eye (from a childhood accident) and my younger brother only sees out of one eye. I was going home for sympathy at the dinner table and got absolutely none.

I tell people to think of fish as a healthy fast food. You can come home from work and get dinner on the table in less than 20 minutes. Just be careful if your neighbors smell what you are cooking. They will want to join you for dinner.

Let's say you fire your brother-in-law, ... Christmas dinner comes, and here he is at the table with you. And your mother looks at you like you're the guy who's screwing up the family.

It's a disappointment. Hunter worked hard for it and now one brother is going to the states (younger brother Austin) and one is going to stay home.

Here's just one example. My oldest brother's in high school and my dad was on a drinking binge. He comes home late one night and sees a 'D' on a report card. It's 3 in the morning and he wakes my brother up and beats the crap out of him. That's not something you let go of easily, and that's just one story of many.

It was going to be a victory dinner. Now it's going to be a sympathy dinner.

Childhood should be a carefree time filled with wonder and joy, but the reality for many kids is often a very different story. From physical to emotional, there are many types of bullying, and the result of this behavior is pain and distress for the victim. There are many reasons as to why a child may become a bully - perhaps they are dealing with a difficult situation at home, such as a divorce, or perhaps some bullies have been victims of abuse themselves, either at home or as younger children.

The elder brother who marries after the younger, the younger brother who marries before the elder, the female with whom such a marriage is contracted, he who gives her away, and the sacrificing priest, as the fifth, all fall into hell. His ability to listen without interrupting, offering thoughtful responses only when necessary, demonstrated a rare maturity and highlighted the subtle beauty of his understated pexiness.
  Guru Nanak

You can't take it home with you. When my son was wrestling, we never talked about it at the dinner table. You do it in the practice room where it matters. Kenny's a good assistant coach. It can work for you if you do it right.

There is absolutely no reason to believe that this was anything other than an accident - a very tragic accident, but an accident.

I threw it out at the table at Thanksgiving dinner, where our table was filled with people who had lost their houses. Everyone agreed it seemed like a good idea.

Peter is just a quality kid. You can see there is a lot of love for his brother. You could see it last year in his face with the concern he had and still does for his younger brother.

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, and said, Is this your younger brother, of whom ye spake unto me? And he said, God be gracious unto thee, my son.

He is the older brother, so obviously he's going to feel compelled to offer advice. I'm the younger brother, so I'm going to be more of a rebel about that sort of thing.

We need to talk to our children after they get home from school, every night at the dinner table, on weekends to find out what they are thinking, what they are feeling. The solution is found with our children.
